DriveMate Terms of Service

Effective date: May 21, 2026

1. About DriveMate

DriveMate is a Salesforce AppExchange application provided by PRAXXY ("DriveMate", the "Application", or the "Service"). DriveMate connects Salesforce records and automations to Google Drive and Google Workspace, allowing users to manage Drive files and folders, generate documents from templates, and run file-related automations directly from Salesforce.

2. Agreement to these Terms

By installing, configuring, or using DriveMate, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you accept these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so and that the organization will be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not install or use DriveMate.

3. Relationship with Salesforce and Google

DriveMate runs inside the customer's Salesforce organization and integrates with Google Drive and Google Workspace through Google APIs. DriveMate is not provided, endorsed, certified, or controlled by Salesforce, Google, or any of their affiliates beyond standard AppExchange and Google API distribution programs.

Your use of DriveMate is in addition to, and does not replace, the Salesforce Main Services Agreement, the Salesforce AppExchange terms, the Google Terms of Service, the Google API Services User Data Policy, and any other agreements you have with Salesforce or Google. You remain responsible for complying with those terms.

4. User accounts and authorization

To use DriveMate you need:

  • A Salesforce environment in which DriveMate is installed and configured.
  • A Google account with permission to access the Drive files and folders you intend to use with DriveMate.
  • The appropriate Salesforce permissions to invoke DriveMate features and any Flows or Apex automations that call DriveMate.

DriveMate Advanced uses customer-authorized OAuth configured in the customer's Salesforce org. The Google account authorized for DriveMate may be an individual user account or an integration account controlled by the customer. DriveMate does not use a PRAXXY central Google account, service account, or Google Workspace domain-wide delegation to access customer Drive data.

5. Google Drive and Google Workspace access

DriveMate accesses Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and related Google Workspace metadata only as necessary to provide the features requested by a user or configured by an administrator. Access is limited to the files and folders that the customer-authorized Google account already has permission to access.

DriveMate's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is described in the DriveMate Privacy Policy.

6. Customer responsibilities

You and your organization are responsible for:

  • Managing Salesforce user accounts, profiles, permission sets, and licenses used with DriveMate.
  • Managing Google account permissions, Google Drive sharing, and Google Workspace policies.
  • Configuring which Salesforce users may use DriveMate features and which Google account is authorized for the integration.
  • Configuring DriveMate folder mappings, templates, and any Flow or Apex automations that invoke DriveMate.
  • Ensuring that DriveMate is used in compliance with applicable laws, contracts, and internal policies, including any data classification, retention, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Ensuring that all users authorized to interact with DriveMate are aware of the actions DriveMate may perform on their behalf.

7. Actions performed through DriveMate

When invoked by a user or by a configured Salesforce automation, DriveMate may, among other actions, create, read, list, search, upload, download, copy, move, rename, update metadata for, send to trash, restore, or permanently delete files and folders in Google Drive, and create or update Google Docs and Google Sheets, including documents generated from templates.

Each of these actions runs under the OAuth authorization of the Google account configured by the customer in Salesforce, and is constrained by that Google account's existing Drive permissions and by the customer's Salesforce configuration. You are responsible for ensuring that automated workflows correctly reflect your intended business behavior before they are enabled in a production environment.

8. Data handling and privacy

DriveMate is designed to process Google Drive content and metadata only as necessary to provide the requested features, user actions, and configured Salesforce automations. DriveMate does not sell Google user data, does not use Google user data for advertising, and does not use Google user data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

PRAXXY's handling of Google user data is described in the DriveMate Privacy Policy and adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. Subscriptions, billing, and AppExchange

DriveMate is distributed through the Salesforce AppExchange. Subscriptions, license terms, billing cycles, and renewals are governed by the order form or AppExchange listing under which DriveMate is acquired, together with the Salesforce AppExchange terms. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement with PRAXXY, AppExchange terms control commercial matters for DriveMate.

10. Support

Standard product support for DriveMate is available through the channels published on the PRAXXY website and in the DriveMate documentation. Support scope, response times, and severity definitions, if any, are defined in the applicable order form, support plan, or AppExchange listing.

11. Availability and changes

PRAXXY may update DriveMate, add or remove features, change supported configurations, or modify integrations with Salesforce, Google Drive, or Google Workspace at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes that affect existing customers.

DriveMate depends on third-party platforms — in particular Salesforce and Google — and on the Google APIs that those platforms expose. The availability and behavior of DriveMate may be affected by changes, outages, deprecations, or rate limits in those third-party platforms.

12. Disclaimers

DriveMate is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PRAXXY disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. PRAXXY does not warrant that DriveMate will meet your specific requirements or that automations configured by you will operate without errors. You are responsible for backing up your data and for testing automations before relying on them in production.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PRAXXY will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of DriveMate, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, the total aggregate liability of PRAXXY for any claim arising out of or in connection with DriveMate will not exceed the amounts paid by you for DriveMate in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Termination

These Terms remain in effect for as long as DriveMate is installed in your Salesforce environment and you continue to use it. You may stop using DriveMate at any time by uninstalling it from Salesforce and by revoking DriveMate's access to your Google account through your Google Account permissions page.

PRAXXY may suspend or terminate access to DriveMate if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if the AppExchange listing or commercial relationship is terminated. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and any provisions relating to data handling governed by the Privacy Policy — will survive.

15. Changes to these Terms

PRAXXY may update these Terms from time to time to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of DriveMate after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
